On the vibrant soil of Beijing’s Huairou, a 72-year-old silver-haired martial artist has devoted decades to practicing, researching, and teaching traditional martial arts with unwavering sincerity. He is Master Zhang Hongbao, a retired public security officer from Huairou. From black-haired youth to white-haired elder, he has transformed his passion for martial arts into a cultural spring nourishing this land.

张洪宝老师，北京怀柔区武术协会副秘书长、陈式心意混元太极拳辅导站站长兼总教练、国际武术六段、陈式太极第十二代传承人，陈式心意混元太极第三代弟子，程派八卦掌第六代传承人、国强太极循道文化全球行太极导师。自幼痴迷武术，自1990年起便系统学习太极拳、剑、刀、枪等各类技艺，幸得多位恩师、名家的亲身传授与悉心指导。深厚的师承（陈式太极、心意混元太极、程派八卦掌）与不懈的钻研，让他不仅技艺精湛，更荣获了“国际武术优秀传承人”与“混元太极优秀传承人”的崇高称号。

Enchanted by martial arts since childhood, he began systematic training in Tai Chi, sword, broadsword, and spear in 1990, guided personally by revered masters. His mastery of Chen-style Tai Chi, Hunyuan Tai Chi, and Cheng-style Baguazhang earned him the titles "Excellent Inheritor of International Martial Art" and "Outstanding Hunyuan Tai Chi Inheritor."

张老师的武学造诣，在国内外赛场上得到了充分印证：

⭐2020年，他在迪拜国际邀请赛上大放异彩，一举夺得混元24式太极拳、混元太极38刀、武当63式太极剑三项一等奖。

⭐2021年，他在第二届敬老得福最美太极老人展示活动中，荣膺“最美太极老人”、“最具人气太极老人”、“最美太极摄影”三项大奖。

⭐2022年是他丰收的一年：年初在贺新年迎冬奥全国老年人线上活动中获个人优秀奖；7月于京津冀社会体育指导员交流赛中斩获个人武术二等奖和集体二等奖；8月首届全民太极大会上摘得个人风采秀一等奖、集体风采秀二等奖；年底再夺北京国际武术邀请赛传统单器械一等奖。

⭐2023年，他继续在鲲鹏杯全国太极文化大赛、太极禅院“太极之光杯”全国太极武术交流大赛中荣获个人三等奖，并捧回两座闪亮的奖杯。

⭐2024年8月，在京津冀社会指导员武术交流大赛上获混元38炮捶一等奖、混元太极刀二等奖；同月于国际混元第六届大会勇夺混元38炮捶金牌、混元38刀银牌；

⭐2024年9月，在香港“国强杯”国际武术太极拳网络大赛上，他再创佳绩，包揽陈式心意混元太极38炮捶和38式太极刀双项一等奖，并再次被授予“国际武术优秀传承人”称号。并被北京著名媒体怀柔报专题报道。

⭐2025年6月，应国强太极循道文化全球行组委会之邀，担任“循道文化全球行”太极导师。
Master Zhang’s prowess shines on global stages:

2020: Swept three golds (Hunyuan 24-Form Tai Chi, Hunyuan 38-Form Broadsword, Wudang 63-Form Sword) at the Dubai International Invitational.

2021: Won "Most Beautiful Tai Chi Elder," "Most Popular Tai Chi Elder," and "Best Tai Chi Photography" at the 2nd National Senior Tai Chi Showcase.

2022: A landmark year:

• "Excellent Individual Award" at the National Online Seniors’ Event for Winter Olympics;

• Double silver (individual/team) at the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Social Sports Instructors’ Competition;

• Gold in "Individual Show" and silver in "Group Show" at the 1st National Tai Chi Convention;

扎根基层传薪火，混元花开遍怀柔
Rooted in Community, Spreading Hunyuan’s Flame

赛场之外，张洪宝老师更是一位不遗余力的文化传播者和公益践行者。早在2019年，他就被怀柔区体育局和武协聘为太极拳教练，投身于“万人太极拳健身培训”工程，义务为桥梓镇、杨宋镇、庙城镇的近3000名群众传授技艺，播撒太极种子。
Beyond competitions, Master Zhang is a tireless cultural ambassador. Since 2019, as a government-appointed Tai Chi coach, he has taught nearly 3,000 residents in Qiaozi, Yangsong, and Miaocheng towns for free, igniting a "10,000-Person Tai Chi Fitness" wave.
2020年5月，一个意义深远的起点——张洪宝老师在世妇会公园亲手创立了陈式心意混元太极拳辅导站。这面“混元太极”的大旗一经竖起，便展现出强大的生命力。短短四年间，辅导站从最初的2位学员，奇迹般地发展壮大到400余人的规模！混元太极的魅力如星火燎原：

北房镇的李瑞福师傅夫妇带领北房队练起了混元；

杨宋太极队在周自来师傅的引领下也打起了混元；

万米公园的王瑞秀、裴书芝二位师傅带领他们的团队加入了混元的行列；

雁栖太极拳辅导站也欣然走进了混元太极拳的大家庭。

如今在北京怀柔，“打混元”的人越来越多，混元太极已深深扎根于这片土地。

在张洪宝老师的悉心指导下，学员们系统学习了混元24式太极拳、混元太极38刀、混元太极48剑、武当63式太极剑、陈式36式太极刀、八段锦、八法五步等丰富内容。他不仅传授技艺，更带领团队在2022年3月社会体育指导员交流展示中荣获集体一等奖，展现了团队的风采与凝聚力。

In May 2020, he founded the Chen-style Hunyuan Tai Chi Training Center at the World Women’s Park—a hub that blossomed from 2 students to over 400 in four years. His influence rippled across Huairou:

Master Li Ruifu & wife led Beifang Town’s team to embrace Hunyuan;

Yangsong Tai Chi Team joined under Zhou Zilai’s guidance;

Wang Ruixiu and Pei Shuzhi mobilized Wanmi Park’s group;

Yanqi Tai Chi Training Center gladly merged into the Hunyuan family.

Today, Hunyuan Tai Chi thrives in Huairou’s soil. Under Master Zhang, students master forms like Hunyuan 24 Tai Chi, 38 Broadsword, 48 Sword, Wudang 63 Sword, Chen-style 36 Broadsword, Baduanjin, and 8 Methods 5 Steps. His team won gold in the 2022 Social Sports Instructors’ Group Showcase, embodying unity and excellence.

回顾自己的武术人生，张洪宝老师深情而坚定：“如今我是天天学，天天练，天天教大家，天天有进步，风雨无阻，雷打不动！”他满怀感恩之情，将今日怀柔混元太极的繁荣景象，归功于恩师妥木斯先生对陈式拳的谆谆教诲与指导，感谢国强太极院李国强老师、七仙女老师的热心支持，以及韩义功老师、冯秀洁师父、刘宝丰师叔、冯彦博老师的倾囊相授，同时也离不开怀柔武术协会领导的关怀指导。
Reflecting on his life in martial arts, Master Zhang shares with devotion: "I learn, practice, and teach every day—rain or shine. Every day brings progress." He credits his mentors—Tuomusi, Li Guoqiang (Guoqiang Tai Chi Academy), "Seven Fairies," Han Yigong, Feng Xiujie, Liu Baofeng, and Feng Yanbo—for Huairou’s thriving Hunyuan community.
